SCITT FUNDING

SCITT tuition fees for 2024/2025 are £9,250.

 

Most trainee teachers choose to pay their fees via the Student Loan Company, however if you are using private funding, your tuition fees will be invoiced.

Student Finance

 

You can apply for loans and grants for your teacher training through the SLC (Student Loan Company) from the government who will pay the tuition fees to us on your behalf. Most students will not have to pay anything upfront. This will be administered by the Student Loans Company. Repayment of the loan will be based on future earnings and will only have to be repaid once you are earning in excess of £21,000 per annum.

 

You may be eligible for the following loans:

 

  • Tuition Fee Loans to cover the full cost of tuition fees

  • Maintenance Loans and grants to cover living costs

  • Grants for living costs to cover the cost of living expenses

  • Trainee teachers can also get extra support if they have children or adult dependents, a disability or a specific learning difficulty.
